"There is a Love holding me. There is a Love holding all that I love." -Rebecca Parker

I am a UU Christian who believes that the Divine is present in all things, and in all moments. I love nature, and see the Ultimate in the workings of the planet and of science. Theology is lived; it is not theoretical. It is a daily exercise in interpreting the sacred as it applies to living modern life.

I believe that people should be able to understand my theology by seeing my behavior. I believe in second chances and in redeeming grace. I know that there are many paths and that sometimes laughter can be the holiest thing that happens that day.

I believe that Thank You is a prayer.

I know that each of us needs all of us to survive.

I am currently in the process of becoming a novice in the Order of Corpus Christi; the Order is a group of lay and clergy people from multiple denominations, all dedicated to a life of study, daily prayer, Fellowship, liturgical preservation, and sacramental celebration.

I am a constructive theologian, and believe in asking not "How can I allow inclusion for all?" but instead "What would it look like if everyone was able to participate?"

Born into a Middle-Eastern Jewish family, and adopted by an Anglican family with fundamentalist leanings, I spent many years searching, and found a  home in Unitarian Universalism. I was married to a humanist Jew who grew up non-observant Orthodox, our grandchildren are Christian, and I believe my cats are atheists. I am comfortable exploring and supporting all responsible personal theologies, growth efforts, and spiritual pathways.
